Member Account Terms

These member account terms (“Terms”) apply when you register for an account on our Website and when you make bookings or otherwise purchase goods or services offered on our Website. When doing any of these things, you agree to be bound by these Terms and to comply with all applicable New Zealand laws. In these terms:
"you" means you, our customer and/or the user of AiGolf’s services and this Website.
"we", "our", "us" and "AiGolf" means AiGolf Investment Limited.
“Website” means our website at


You may register for an account on our Website. The information you provide when you register for an account must be true and accurate. You agree to:
-  promptly update your information or request us to update your information as required to ensure it remains accurate and current;
-  keep your account password secure and confidential; and
-  not allow other persons to use your account in any way.

We may accept or reject account applications at our sole discretion. We may also suspend, restrict functionality or terminate your account if there is any breach by you of these Terms, our website terms or any other agreement between you and us.


Once you have an account, you may register for available events (such as tournaments, lessons and tours) and offer to purchase other goods and services on our Website. You need to be at least 18 years old to do any of these things.

When you register for events or place an order for goods or services, you are applying for registration or making any offer to purchase those goods or services. Any request or order made using your login and password will be deemed to be an instruction or order by you and may be acted upon accordingly by us until you notify us otherwise.

We may accept or reject applications for registration or decline your order or any part of it for any reason. If registration or an order is declined, we’ll let you know using the e-mail address you gave us when you registered or ordered. Registration or an order is only accepted when we have processed your payment (if payment is required) and have sent confirmation of your registration or order to you.

If for some reason we have something listed on our Website with the wrong price, have included some incorrect information, are out of stock or, if an event is fully booked, we reserve the right to cancel your registration or order (regardless of whether you’ve paid for it.) But if you’ve already paid for a registration or order that needs to be cancelled, we’ll refund you in full and let you know what we’ve done using the contacts you gave us when you placed your order.


The price you pay for the events you register for or the things you order is the price you see displayed on our Website, plus delivery charges if there are any. Unless we specifically say otherwise:
-? payment is due in full at the time you register or make your order; and
-? all prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.

You can buy things from our Website with Visa and MasterCard cards, just as long as those cards are valid. We also offer Alipay and WeChat Pay payment options. We may charge you a convenience for use of your selected payment option. This fee is to cover the transaction costs charged to us by the payment provider. If we are charging such a fee, we will make this to you at the time of purchase.

It’s important to us that you can use your credit card safely on our Website. We use industry standard encryption (SSL) to make sure that your information remains secure. When you pay for products and services online by credit card, we use a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateway, Payment Express, to securely process your payment.

Sometimes events or services offered on our Website may also require payment to third parties, such as green fees or course fees. You will need to pay these amounts directly to the third-party when they require payment (for example, the payment of a course fee to a golf club on arrival at the golf course). Our Website will specify what is and is not included in the price you pay to us. The things we offer on our Website (and the price of them) may change at any time without notice.


The events you may register for and services you order on the Website may be provided or hosted by third-parties, such as a golf club, golfing academy, tour operator or promoter. We will endeavour to make you aware of any such Third-Party Terms and either provide a copy of such terms on our Website or point you to where they can be found.

When registering for an event provided or hosted by third parties, you agree to observe and comply with the terms and conditions, code of conduct, health and safety requirements and any other conditions imposed by those third-parties (“Third-Party Terms”). Please therefore ensure you read and understand any such Third-Party Terms.


When you register for an event or make order and receive confirmation from us of your registration or order, you have committed to buying those goods or services. Having said that, we understand that sometimes people make mistakes. If that has happened, e-mail us at straight away and we’ll do our best to fix any problems. As long as your order hasn’t been processed, we should be able to make any changes you need. We may even be able to cancel the transaction if that is what needs to happen.

Sometimes events you register for may need to be cancelled or rescheduled. This may be caused by adverse weather events, damage to facilities, unavailability of key personnel or for other reasons. If this happens, we will let you know as soon as we can. Where available, we will endeavour to offer you the event at a rescheduled time or an alternative comparable event. If we cannot do this, or if you do not wish to reschedule or register for another event offered, we will provide you with a full refund of any payment made to us. We will not however, be responsible for refunding or reimbursing you for any other amounts you may have paid to third parties in connection with that event.

We may also cancel your registration or order if you breach these Terms, our Website terms, any other agreement between you and us or any applicable Third-Party Terms. If your order or registration is cancelled for these reasons, you will not receive any refund or repayment for services not used or for events you have not attended.


We always aim to make sure all information regarding events, goods and services on our Website is up to date and accurate. Occasionally however, the information on our Website may contain errors or omissions. While we will do our best to avoid that, we don’t take any liability for these errors or omissions. If an error or omission we have made however, means that an event you have registered for or a purchase you have made is no longer suitable for you, you may ask us for a refund.

Also, we may change the information on our Website at any time without prior notice. It we do that, the information on our Website at the time you make your registration or order will apply.


Whenever you buy something as a consumer you’re looked after by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (“Act”). We are committed to meeting all our responsibilities under the Act and nothing to the in these Terms shall override your rights under the Act.

If you buy something from us for business purposes:
-? the Act does not apply; and
-? sections 8, 12A and 13 of the Fair Trading Act 1986 do not apply.

Also, there are the other things that we’ve mentioned in these Terms, or elsewhere in our Website terms that apply to the use of your account and the purchase of products and services on our Website that may limit our responsibilities outside of the Act.


Where we have not been able to provide an event you have registered and paid for or if a product or service you have ordered and paid for is defective, to the full extent permitted by law, our liability to you (or anyone claiming through you) for such failure shall be limited, at our option, to:
-? Providing you with an alternative event or service satisfactory to you or a replacement product or;
-? Re-performing any part(s) of the defective service; or
-? Refunding to you the price for the relevant event, product or service.

To the full extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability we may otherwise have to you or anyone else for any indirect or consequential damage, loss, cost or expense arising out of your registration for events or the purchase of goods or services on our Website.


We will comply with our Privacy Policy. By using our Website you accept this policy as the way we manage your personal information.


Every now and then, we might need to make changes to these terms and conditions. We will do that by publishing them here on our Website. As soon as any new terms and conditions are published, all events you register for and all orders you make on our Website are subject to the latest terms and conditions shown on our Website at the time.

If for any reason any of these terms or conditions are unenforceable or invalid, the rest of them will always, to the maximum extent possible, remain in full force and effect.

The legal relationship between you and us, your use of our Website and the purchase of goods and services and event registrations are governed by these Terms, our Website terms and New Zealand law.
